Lisa Clawson – Fort Wayne, IN
Lisa Clawson, FFCU's 2009-2010 Employee of the Year, is a special
employee described as hard-working, positive, dedicated, knowledgeable,
and caring who with high energy goes above and beyond for members and
fellow employees. She has developed these strengths through various
positions at FFCU beginning in 2004 as a branch member representative,
followed by professional growth in loan clerk, loan officer, and branch
manager roles during the past six years. Corporate Branch Manager,
Dennis Shaffer, bragged of his assistant saying, “Whatever position Lisa
is placed in she excels and flourishes. There is nothing that Lisa
doesn’t know.” However, one thing Lisa didn’t know prior to FFCU’s
holiday party was that she’d be surprised to take home the marquis award,
along with $1,500!
Teammates find Lisa to be one who jumps right in to help where needed,
who’s approachable for support, and never-complaining whenever duty calls.
Multiple success stories could be told of Lisa taking special care of members
and pleasing them by her exceptional service; however helping an
elderly member recover funds stolen from her by a so-called “investor” was a
highlight this year. Lisa was witnessed working with the lady over and over,
step by step, with an incredibly caring attitude throughout the long process.
It was an awesome scene to see Lisa celebrate the positive outcome with the
member, truly living out the “people helping people” credit union credo, and
the uniqueness of the FFCU brand so important to our success. Lisa’s
contagious shine only helps the future of FFCU look that much brighter as we
look to our future with great optimism.
President & CEO Steve Collins proudly presented the Award and check for
$1,500 to Lisa at the December 4th holiday party as a part of an excellent
evening of good food, festivities and FFCU family fun.
