Fort Financial Credit Union has a career opportunity for an Underwriting Manager at our Corporate office in Fort Wayne, IN.
The primary function will be to ensure consumer/ indirect lending policies and procedures best serve the credit union and its members. Manage the day-today operation of the underwriting department. Ensure compliance with state and federal lending laws. Monitor and analyze economic conditions affecting the consumer / indirect loan industry and recommend appropriate action. Support, lead, mentor, and coach staff to exceed the Credit Unions expectations. The position is charged with strategic planning, tactical action, and operational decision-making. Must possess initiative and drive, broad relevant technical knowledge and have excellent communication skills. A member-centric attitude and a desire to work in a team that serves a diverse population will
be required.
Ideal candidates will have 3 to 5 years Underwriting/Lending experience in a Automobile Dealer or Financial Institution, and a proven leadership track record.
